8 Years and Beyond

Senior cats need additional support, as they age much more quickly then we do. Keauhou Veterinary Hospital recommends a yearly blood test for your aging cat. Ideally senior pets should be seen every 6 months for their optimal wellness visits.

If your pet is on medications for arthritis or other chronic illnesses, sometimes these medications can have an effect on their organ functions.  They will need to come in for regular bloodwork to make sure their organ function is staying within normal ranges.

As always please allow 24 hours for all prescription refills. This gives our staff the time to review your pet’s records to make sure we can safely refill their prescriptions.
