Dr. Head has extensive training in fracture repair and orthopedic surgery. He completed an internship after receiving his DVM from CSU at a VCA Hospital in New Mexico. Here he spent a year working along side board certified surgeons learning the proper way to perform a multitude of surgeries. He continued his education by attending the basic and advanced Synthes Fracture and Fixator courses given at Ohio State University. He most recently completed the Kyon TTA training course, providing the pets of Hawaii a with the latest Knee Surgery available. Dr. Head is one of only 2 doctors in the state that performs this procedure.
