Our facility has a new radiology area certified and inspected by the State of Hawaii. Our machine has a float top table enabling us to rapidly position your pet for radiographs. Our digital processing equipment can develop the films in as fast as 35 seconds and can help get the information we need quickly, as every second counts when you are waiting to find out what is wrong with your pet. KVH wants to make sure we can get you the information you need quickly to determine how we can help care for your pets. Our facility is fully digital with DICOM allowing us to transfer images quickly if need for further study by a Board Certified Radiologist.
Puppies, can you count them all?
We recommend that you bring your pregnant dogs in for an x-ray around 45 days, that way we can help determine approximately how many puppies you should be expecting.
We can also ultrasound your pet early in pregnancy if you wish. See ultrasound information for additional information on ultrasound imaging.
