Itchy scratchy parasites

While the internal parasites and their sub catagories are interesting. The External ones that you can't see with the naked eye can be hard to find and sometimes even harder to treat. Ear mites, Sarcoptic Mange, Demodex, bacteria, yeast and a host of others that make your pets life miserable, can also take up residence on you as well.

Skin scraping and cultures can give us a microscopic view of what is crawling around or camping out on your pet. Areas of baldness, red hot irritated skin, small sores and other symptoms can be signs of all of the above. If your pet is experiencing any or all of these symptoms get them in today and have them examined by a licensed veterinarian. 

 Ringworm, not actually a worm at all, but rather a fungus, can be easily transmitted from you to your pet and back again. This is a tough one to treat as it can take weeks to get rid of. 

 Cheyletiella Dermatitis is often called "walking dandruff". On close observation maybe seen as moving dandruff on the skin. This is caused as the mites move around below the scales of flaky skin. Caused by direct contact or environmental contamination. e.g., bedding.This microscopic parasite can make your pet miserable.
